Sorry to have been out of touch for a while -- I'm struggling with a lot of things and haven't felt like posting. But tonight the Olympics begin and that's always exciting! And tomorrow evening my husband and daughters will be at a Father-Daughter dance -- two hours alone in the house with my sewing machine! Can't wait!!
Hi Anne! Sorry things have been tough, but I'm glad to hear you have plans for a fun weekend!
Believe it or not, here in upstate NY, despite record-breaking cold temps, we have only had one snowday so far this year. (This past Wednesday.) Nothing special planned for the weekend--my husband works Saturdays, and I'm getting over a cold, so I'm looking forward to catching up on some sleep. Saturday afternoon one of us will take our son to do a Valentine's craft at our local nature preserve, and then Sunday night we'll do our usual fire in the fireplace/toasting marshmallows.
Welcome back, Anne! We're excited about the Olympics at our house, too. Also, we're starting a new middle school youth group in our parish and the first session is this Sunday afternoon. Any prayers would be appreciated!
