Friday Fun Day!
What's going on in your neck of the woods this weekend? We have dance recital and then we'll be relaxing with my parents. The weather is supposed to be nice, so we're hoping to do some grilling.
We're in the process of having the exterior of our porch painted, so the yard is a mess and the porch furniture has been put away. Which is too bad, because the weather would have been nice for relaxing on the porch swing. But we'll probably still be able to grill Sunday night. Tomorrow there's a bike rodeo at school (at 8:30 am! I can't imagine why they scheduled it so early on a Saturday). After that my husband will head for work and my son and I will be on our own till we meet him at the vigil Mass. No specific plans for Sunday, which is fine.
We have hopes for a productive weekend as my husband & sons work on chopping & stacking wood for the wood stove & several of us pitch in to get our neighborhood community garden going. I am looking forward to finally packing away the winter coats & boots! We also hope to grill out for Saturday night's steak salad dinner. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
