What's going on with your family this weekend? We, again, have nothing on the calendar. So I'm sure we'll be cleaning in anticipation of my parents' visit in a couple weeks. Hoping to finally get those grilled fajitas from my hubby and maybe I'll find time for a nap. ;)
Tomorrow my son and I will hang out at home while my husband is at work, then we'll all meet up for the Vigil Mass. Sunday morning my husband will probably do yardwork, which is top notch entertainment for my son (he loves to watch Daddy mow the lawn and use the weedwacker!). Sunday afternoon we might to go a festival at a Greek church, then we'll come home and grill for dinner. I'm also hoping that I'll be able to stay awake to watch a movie on tv with my husband at some point this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe food at those Greek festivals is the best! There is a big festival at the Melkite Greek Catholic parish near my parents in VA which my mother & younger brother always attend...I always wish we were there, too!
DeleteThe sun is out . . . we're drying out . . . hopefully things aren't too wet right now at Busch Gardens for my daughter's field trip. (They are learning about physics by going on the rides -- insert eye rolling icon here!)
ReplyDeleteNothing exciting happening here over the weekend, and I have no complaints about that! Claire, have a wonderful time at the Greek festival!! Our local Greek Orthodox church has their festival at the end of the month, and we can't wait. It's a favorite family outing for us.
